Description

In this presentation, we look at Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, a common, debilitating, repetitive strain injury. The standard model for explaining this chronic condition is ‘inflammation’ of the flexor tendons that pass through the carpal tunnel in the wrist. Yet in clinical practice we rarely, if ever, see signs of inflammation when clients present with the classic distribution of neurological symptoms associated with this condition. Further doubt is cast on this assumption when surgical interventions fail to alleviate symptoms!

Here we look at a broader approach required to address the numerous factors contributing to Carpal Tunnel.
